Dead Man's Hole at Tower Bridge

Dead Man’s Hole on the Northside of Tower Bridge. Legend has it that apart from a place to transport dead bodies from the Tower of London it’s vantage point on the river allowed long poles to pull random corpses from the Thames. The bodies were left in this makeshift open air mortuary, sometimes for a long period, causing them to bloat and explode. This explains the white “easy to wash” tiles around the area.

Here is a precise what3words address, made of 3 random words. Every 3 metre square in the world has its own unique what3words address.
