This firehouse was built in 1903 in a Beaux-Arts style and originally had two vehicle doors but was reduced in size due to the widening of Varick Street in 1913.
The crew based here were one of the first responders to the 9/11 attacks and despite plans to close it public support meant it has stayed open and active.
It is instantly recognisable as the Ghostbusters HQ and made two appearances in the 2016 reboot as well as the film Hitch and Seinfeld.
Address: 14 North Moore Street, Tribeca, Manhattan, New York.
